Terms of use

This License governs your use of Flowspark Forge “Free Components” (the “Components”) provided by Flowspark (“Flowspark”, “we”, “us”).

1) Grant of License

Subject to compliance with this License, Flowspark grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to:

  • use, copy, and modify the Components,
  • incorporate the Components into websites, apps, and digital products,
  • distribute the Components only as embedded/compiled as part of a larger work (e.g., a website, app, or client deliverable).

2) Permitted Uses

You may:

  • use the Components in personal projects, client work, commercial websites/apps, and internal tools,
  • modify the Components for your own use,
  • ship projects to clients that include the Components as part of the delivered site/app.

3) Prohibited Uses (No Resale / No Competing Products)

You may not, directly or indirectly:

A. Resell / Redistribute as a Product

  • sell, license, rent, or otherwise commercialize the Components as standalone items,
  • publish, distribute, or make available the Components in any repository, marketplace, template pack, component pack, starter kit, boilerplate, generator, snippet library, or similar collection where the Components are a primary value,
  • offer the Components for download (free or paid) in a way that allows others to reuse them as components.

B. Competing Product Restriction

  • use the Components (or any derivatives) to create, train, seed, or bootstrap a product or service that competes with Flowspark Forge, including but not limited to:
    • a component library, component marketplace, animation/interaction component pack, template marketplace, UI kit, “motion components” subscription, or similar offering,
    • any product whose primary purpose is to provide reusable UI/animation components substantially similar to Flowspark Forge.

4) Distribution Rules (What “Embedded” Means)

You may distribute the Components only when they are:

  • integrated into a larger project (site/app) and not provided as a reusable component library, and
  • not marketed or packaged as a way for others to extract and reuse the Components.

If your distribution format makes it easy to extract the Components (e.g., a public template repo marketed as “includes Flowspark components”), it may be considered redistribution and is not allowed without written permission.

5) Ownership

Flowspark retains all rights, title, and interest in the Components. This License grants rights of use only and does not transfer ownership.

6) Attribution (Optional)

Attribution is appreciated but not required unless a specific Component includes an attribution notice. (If you want attribution required, we can tighten this.)

7) No Warranty

THE COMPONENTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOWSPARK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

9) Termination

This License is effective until terminated. If you breach this License, your rights terminate automatically. Upon termination, you must stop using and distributing the Components and delete copies under your control.

10) Commercial Licenses / Exceptions

If you want to redistribute, include in a template library, or use the Components in a competing offering, you must obtain written permission from Flowspark under a separate commercial license.
